PARTNERSHIP GRANT PROGRAM
I. Background Information
The purpose of the ENTRÉE PROGRAM is to strengthen and/or develop partnerships between ICEED members. The program provides seed funds to ICEED members to develop new initiatives and projects.

II. Eligibility
The program is open only to paid ICEED full members and associate members. All partners must also be ICEED members. Associate members cannot be the lead. A letter of endorsement signed by all the institutions Chief Executive Officer/Rector/President must accompany the application. This letter must indicate the appropriate institutional support associated with the project.
Only one application can be submitted by a lead institution. Application must be in English. It is estimated that 4-5 projects will be funded. Projects must link ICEED members with other ICEED institutions outside of their own country. A final report on the project is to be presented at one of the ICEED conferences. Note: institutions funded as project lead under one funding cycle, are not eligible for the second cycle of funding.

III. Projects
The ENTRÉE Program will consider projects in four priority areas:
- Area I. Create opportunities for cross-cultural experiences for higher education students, faculty, and staff. It is not open for associate members.
- Area II. Create linkages between education and business that will strengthen the economy of the areas served by the institutions.
- Area III. Create programs for educational development in the following categories:
- Teaching methodology
- Internationalizing curriculum
- Area IV. Create opportunities for innovative use of technology

IV. Award
The amount allocated by ICEED for projects involving two countries will be $4,000 USD and $5,000 USD for projects involving the three countries (USA, Mexico and Canada.)
ICEED institutions will be encouraged to provide at minimum 50% of cash or in-kind matching. Consortia involving more than two ICEED institutions are encouraged.

V. Application
Submit one original proposal to ICEED, which includes:
Letter of support signed by Chief Executive Officer (Chancellor, President, Rector). A letter is needed from all partners on the grant.
Abstract of the project (not more than one page, single-spaced). Include title of project and dates of activities.
Narrative (not more than three pages) which addresses project objectives and how the objectives relate to the priority areas outlined above.
Primary ICEED contacts (Lead and partner (s) institutions).
Financial/Budget Information. Must show match.
Schedule/Timetable of Work/Expected Outcomes.
Proposal can be submitted electronically (except for the signed letter by CEO, which can be fax followed by an original).

VI. Final Report
Final report is due to the Board of Directors at the stated completion date. It must be received by the ICEED office by January 15th for the spring conference and by September 15th for the fall conference.
Results of the program must be disseminated to ICEED members at the ICEED conference following the completion date.

VII. Evaluation & Application
An ICEED panel will evaluate the proposal. Applications must be received no later than January 15, 2009. Projects can begin immediately upon approval by ICEED, however, must be completed by December 31, 2009.
